Paul Long, Director of Technical Services and Rail Operations at Loram UK, gave a talk at The Long Game’s All About Careers event in March about what employers are looking for. Paul is autistic and has a great deal of experience of hiring and managing staff; he gave some in-depth insights into what employers like himself hope to see when they recruit job applicants. His talk included a useful rundown of the recruitment process, what graduate applicants can expect, and strategies applicants can utilise to increase their chances of success.
