Most of our trustees are members of the autistic community. Each of us brings a wide range of different skills and experiences to The Long Game, which enables the charity to achieve its strategic aims.
Gemma Holtam (the Founder of The Long Game) is currently working towards a PhD in Education at Sheffield Hallam University, through which she is exploring the experiences of autistic individuals in higher education and postgraduate employment. An experienced teacher, Gemma has also completed a PGCE from the University of Huddersfield and an MA in Online and Distance Education from the Open University.
Phil is a paralegal at Tiger Law, having obtained a Law degree at Nottingham Trent University and a Legal Practice Certificate from De Montfort University.
Ghafaria Khan, is a Specialist Mentor in Mental Health Conditions and Autism. She has a psychology degree and a masters degree in mental health studies from King’s College University. Ghafaria is currently in persuit of a PhD in autism at University College London.
Oliver is a Policy Advisor at Cancer Research UK. He has a history degree from the University of Warwick and a masters degree in public administration and policy from the University of York.
